3 Common Problems of Using Capacitive Touchscreen

Users may encounter some problems when using capacitive touch screens. When using it for the first time, the user first correctly installs the driver needed for the capacitive touch screen according to the requirements of the relevant instructions, and then runs the screen calibration program to calibrate the screen. In fact, the touch screen will be calibrated before it leaves the factory, so end users don't have to worry. In addition, users may encounter the following three situations when using a capacitive touch screen.

 

First, changing the system resolution or resizing the screen results in incorrect positioning of the capacitive touch.

 

Once the system clicks incorrectly or drifts when changing the display resolution, resizing the screen and installing for the first time, you need to start the positioning program that comes with the application to relocate, but when positioning, it is best to use a thinner pen or fingertip for positioning, which is more accurate.

 

Second, the capacitive touch screen is slow to respond.

 

If the touch screen is slow to respond when touching the surface acoustic wave touch screen with your hand or other touch object, it is very likely that the touch screen system is obsolete, the internal clock frequency is too low, or because there are water droplets moving on the surface of the touch screen, if you want the touch screen to recover fast response, you must replace or upgrade the system, or use a dishcloth to dry the water droplets on the surface of the touch screen.

 

Third, no response after touching the capacitive touch screen.

 

When you touch a position of the capacitive touch screen with your finger and the touch screen does not respond, it is very likely that the position of the touch is not accurate and the cursor cannot be positioned correctly. If the cabinet shell presses the touch area, the user can increase the distance between the cabinet and the display screen. If the display shell presses the touch area, the user can try to loosen the screws of the display shell a little bit.
